Facts of the matter in Nutshell:
The petitioner doing Private practice in Koderma, she is alleged of violating the PCPNT Act by disclosing the gender of foetus. It was alleged that a decoy patient approached petitioner through an agent to whom sex of foetus was disclosed and alleged doctor was caught red handed.
The Petitioner being AICL member sought assistance from APEX medico legal experts.
Apprehending arrest she filed an application for anticipatory bail and submitted no offence has been committed by her. She further submitted that as alleged she disclosed about female child to decoy patient whereas a male child was born to her, she has been falsely implicated in the case under conspiracy on mere suspicion.
Petitioner was directed to surrender within 30 days and allowed to get bail on furnishing surerty of Rs. 25000/- . Bail allowed.
